Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Muscat, Oman showed its support once again for the global warming awareness initiative, Earth Hour, and joined millions of people across the globe in switching off its lights for one hour on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 8.30 to 9.30 p.m.
“At Al Bustan Palace, social responsibility is paramount and we are working hard to ensure we lead the way in making a positive difference in our communities. This is yet another endeavor to encourage our ladies and gentlemen as well as hotel guests to participate as we support Earth Hour once again,” commented Bernard N. Viola, General Manager of Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
To enhance the guest experience, the Beach Pavilion also offered a candlelight dinner where guests had the chance to enjoy a special evening while supporting a good cause.
Al Bustan Palace’s involvement in Earth Hour is part of the hotel’s Community Footprints program where the ladies and gentlemen of Al Bustan Palace give back to their local communities as they contribute and highlight many other activities such as hunger and poverty relief, the well-being of children and environmental conservation.
