Bahrain Duty Free allocates BD1m for renovation

Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex (BDFSC) has decided to invest almost BD1m ($2.65m) to renovate its stores at the Bahrain International Airport, Gulf Daily News has reported. “The company would also be bringing in new fashion brands and adding to its offerings and continue the strong marketing campaign,” BDFSC general manager Fadi Allam told the daily. The company said its full-year net income grew to $17.1m in 2013 from $16.9m earlier, while fourth-quarter net income rose 5% to $3.6m from the 2012 figure of $3.4m.
