In line with its commitment of offering customers with the finest after sales service experience, International Gulf Trading Company (IGTC)-Chubb Fire Qatar has launched its Fire Appliance and Equipment Service Vehicle.
The new Service Van, which has been built on a left hand drive Mercedes-Benz 4×2 Sprinter 315 CDI, features a Sortimo vehicle racking system that includes drawers, cupboards, work benches and a vice. Providing a comfortable and spacious ride for the driver and one person, the vehicle’s excellent speed, road handling and safe and efficient braking, ensures effective after sales service delivery to a long list of distinguished IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar customers.
“IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar’s promise of product and service excellence is unwavering,” said Mr. Rami Batrawi, General Manager of IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar. “Our efforts are constantly geared towards delivering unsurpassed overall customer experience, including an after sales service that is second to none, and ensuring utmost convenience to all those that need and require any kind or form of service.
“As the country’s leading supplier of fire safety equipment and security solutions, we have the deepest understanding of the urgency and necessity of such equipment to always be in top operational condition within the location that they have been installed,” Batrawi explained. “Thus, through our new service van, we take away the need for companies to detach such equipment and bring them out of their premises to our service location.
“Instead, our fully equipped service vehicle, manned and operated by a team of highly trained and expert technicians, can do the required service or repairs right at the doorstep of our customers,” he added.
Custom-built to a high standard and design, the service van was manufactured under the control and supervision of the Quality Management System Standards of ISO 9001:2008 by Angloco Limited in West Yorkshire, England.
Among its key features include a side sliding door to the right hand side of the vehicle and rear loading doors that allow access to the rear compartment of the vehicle. Its flooring, which is covered by a non-slip material, complements the Sortimo ‘Globelyst M’ in-vehicle storage equipment that provides optimum arrangement well-suited for the vehicle layout.
Furthermore, a vice has been mounted to a fold out bench and installed as part of the vehicle racking system. The bench with vice deploys outside to the rear of the vehicle and are therefore accessible from the ground level to the rear. Equipped with a 12-Volt electrical system, all electrical cables are protected by suitable sheathing and/or conduit, plus circuit breakers and fuses.
