Le Silla was established in Central Italy’s Le Marche area in 1994 by Enio Silla the talented designer of the brand who hails from Sant’Elpidio a Mare on the Adriatic Coast, while Monica Ciabattini the Creative Director hails from Milan where they incidentally met in 1991. She was in fashion trading and was working with leading names in the field while he was working in the production and trade of children’s shoes. It was a perfect match for they soon fall in love, got married and started not only a family but a brand which was destined to scale geat heights.
The highly artistic Monica is knowlegeable about fabrics, fashion and trends while Enio Silla on the other hand has a passionate muse which can sense a woman’s soul. Inspiration comes from sources as diverse as historical and political evolutions of society and even architecture. They have created in a few years a very large collection with styles like basic, carry over, daily, dressy, fashion, evening, street with heels ranging from 6 cm – 15 cm high or flat. Le Silla’s SS 2014 collection is targetted at the cosmopolitan woman of today who is a global consumer, not defined by where she lives, with a taste for sporty wear both comfortable and functional yet chic and dressy.
