The National Business Centre (NBC) signed an agreement with Nawras yesterday (Sunday), as Nawras will sponsor NBC’s monthly Reyooq series of events. The agreement was signed by Malak Al Shaibani, Director General of NBC, and Raed Mohammed Dawood, Director – Government Relations at Nawras.
Reyooq series of events is an initiative of the National Business Centre which aspires to present an ultimate platform for Omani entrepreneurs to network with experts, and learn about entrepreneurship to get innovative and creative ideas for their businesses. This initiative also comes to develop the abilities and knowledge of entrepreneurs and put their perspectives forward to the experts in the field, besides enhancing communication channels.
Commenting on this cooperation, Malak Al Shaibani said, “We are delighted to have a company such as Nawras to support Reyooq event. It is indeed a true commitment of Nawras to support Omani entrepreneurs. This signifies the importance Nawras puts on supporting small and medium enterprises specifically supporting NBC with the number of entrepreneurs that we have.” Al Shaibani added, “The next Reyooq event, which will be held on the 26th of June, will host Sheikh Khalfan Al Esry at the National Business Centre. Therefore, it is an opportunity for interested entrepreneurs to join the event to exchange information, share experiences and win networking opportunities.”
On his part, Raed Mohammed Dawood stated, “We are pleased to be associated with the NBC as we believe that the association will be of benefit to both parties. In fact, we want to be an active part of business entrepreneurship and incubation and we believe that this sector holds a bright future and the market in Oman will eventually grow. Hence, it is vital that we give entrepreneurs the best guidance and service.”
The National Business Centre (NBC) is an initiative launched by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates at the Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) to offer promising Omani entrepreneurs a platform to develop their business ideas and advance them into growing ventures. The centre attempts to become the premier platform for Omani entrepreneurs by providing business development support and guidance, training and mentoring, access to markets and industry experts, and state-of-the-art and fully equipped office space, meeting rooms and presentation facilities.
