In its continuous efforts to meet the various needs of our community, the National Commercial Bank (NCB) distributes 90 thousand eftar meals in main streets and squares of Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam during all days of Ramadan. This initiative comes within the “Eftarakalena” (Break your fast with us) campaign. It very big campaign, which engages 750 young people to participate in preparing and distributing eftar meals to fasting persons shortly before Maghreb.
NCB is the exclusive partner of “EFTARKALENA” campaign this year. It is organized by BenchMark and Panaroma FM for the third consecutive year with an aim to distribute 3000 daily eftar meals for fasting persons, who cannot reach their homes for eftar.
NCB employees and their families are volunteering to participate in the campaign in different cities of the Kingdom through NCB Volunteer Program, which aims to engage its employees in community initiatives. The bank allocated 30 paid hours for each employee to participate in volunteering works.
This assures NCB endeavours to interact with its Saudi society, uphold its corporate responsibility toward the community and citizens, as well as encourage its staff to participate in such initiatives.
The campaign aims to stimulate volunteer spirit, spread charity, and launch corporate responsibility initiatives by distributing eftar meals for fasting persons. With eftar meals, the campaign aims also to helps the persons who drive their cars shortly before eftar time to abide by traffic rules and reduce car speed.
It’s worth mentioning that NCB corporate responsibility programs touch the real needs of the community and contribute in guided social initiatives according to a defined strategy that aims to enable all individuals within the community.
