Mascot costumes manufacturer and costume character events company Rainbow Productions returns to the Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure (DEAL) exhibition, which takes place from 8th to 10th April 2014 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The company is participating at the show for the 8th consecutive year. As a member of the Association of Leisure Equipment Suppliers (ALES-UK) Rainbow Productions will be based at Stand E13/E20 at the Arena Hall, Dubai World Trade Centre.
Exhibitors at last year’s DEAL signed contracts worth several million dollars and the show grew by 19% over the previous year. These contracts were for all the equipments, rides and other innovative products and projects that were being rolled out during the course of the year. The show last year welcomed 272 firms from across 33 countries and attracted 5753 quality trade visitors.
Sales Manager Danny Smith and Helen Ede, Marketing Manager of Rainbow Productions, will be meeting DEAL visitors to discuss opportunities of working together. The Stand will showcase two recent mascot commissions created for a client in Lebanon, as well as other examples of Rainbow Productions’ mascot costume work. Rainbow Productions will also manage the presence of a character on the show floor during appearances around Stand E13/E20.
“The 2014 will be the eighth consecutive year that Rainbow Productions has invested in an exhibition stand at the DEAL Expo – a testament to the importance we place on increasing the amount of business we do in this region. We’re delighted to already work on projects on behalf of clients such as JCC’s Baraem.TV pre-school channel; the Kuwait Media Group and Dubai events management company – Invent Creative. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand,” said Helen Ede, Marketing Manager for Rainbow Productions.
Rainbow Productions works with visitor attractions across the UK, Europe and Middle East. The mascots company has also created custom-made mascots for a number of international sporting events in 2014, including the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the World Equestrian Games which take place in Normandy, France.
For Kuwait Media Group, Rainbow Productions brought to life the Al Watan characters as walkabout brand characters. Commissions on behalf of Baraem.TV include Fafa, Teela and Toula as well as Baddie. Within the UK, Rainbow Productions is creating licensed children’s characters which will make meet and greet appearances as part of the brand experience for family guests visiting CBeebies Land which is scheduled to open at Alton Towers Resort in May 2014.
“It is extremely pleasing to know that almost all our exhibitors from the previous editions are back at DEAL 2014. This shows that the business is on an exponential curve. Most of the amusement operations have registered a steady growth in revenue and this is promising for our industry on all fronts. We are confident that we are heading in the right direction and we are sure that the industry is going to excel on all fronts,” said Mr. Sharif Rahman, CEO, IEC.
With 30 years of experience, Rainbow Productions based in UK is a global leader in character costume mascots manufacturing and working in sectors such as brand licensing, sports marketing, retail and leisure. It is also UK’s official supplier of more than 100 famous children’s characters and manages these character appearances at events.
