UN Information Centre – Following the launch of the MY World Global Survey in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the UN Day commemoration on 24 October 2013, the UN Country Team (UNCT) in Bahrain will launch the MY World Global Survey promotional video during an official function on Sunday, 20 April 2014 at 12:00 hrs at the UN House Conference Hall.
The video launch will bring together senior representatives from the media, key Bahraini advocates featured in the video and UN partners to engage individuals in Bahrain to voice their development priorities in order to help world leaders as well as the UN shape the Post-2015 development agenda that will succeed the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Gulf Air, an esteemed partner of the UN, will be screening the promotional video onboard all flights, starting 01 May 2014. Furthermore, during the launch, UN Officials will also discuss the first MY World country report for Bahrain that highlights the trends in priorities chosen by MY World respondents in Bahrain till date.
The MY World Promo Video features eminent personalities from the Kingdom of Bahrain who have voiced their opinion on the importance of this survey in making the world a better place for all of humanity, namely:

The MY World Survey is the United Nations global survey that aims to capture people’s opinions and priorities so that global leaders can be informed as they begin the process of defining the new Post-2015 development agenda for the world.
Since the launch of the MY World Global Survey in Bahrain on 24 October 2013, the process to raise awareness on both the survey and the Post-2015 Development Agenda has gained a considerable momentum and as a result, Bahrain now has the highest survey participation rate in the Gulf and the highest per capita participation rate in the Arab Region.
