Contemporary fashion brand Vince Camuto, the New York-based brand and lifestyle powerhouse known for its quality and style, recently donated 60 pairs of its footwear and Eid Goodies to the women and children at the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) this Ramadan.
Khulood Hadif Alshamsi, Housing Manager at DFWAC (Dubai Foundation for Women and Children), thanked the Vince Camuto Middle East Group for visiting the foundation with early ‘Eid Gifts’ during Ramadan to support the Foundation’s aims.
She also praised the cooperation with Vince Camuto Middle East, saying: “We are glad to collaborate with the international fashion brand (Vince Camuto) and we appreciate their efforts that will draw a smile on the victims’ faces by this magnanimous donation.” She added, “We can all help towards the cause, but we need to have the willingness to work towards supporting the cause, as facing domestic violence and child abuse is an ongoing process that needs continuous support from everyone. It is a developmental process and under our guidance we aim to offer normal lives to each of these victims and their families.”
“We are proud to support Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) who has been a pioneer when it comes to offering women’s empowerment in the UAE. Ramadan is a very meaningful time for us in the UAE and we are glad to have received this opportunity to reach out to the underprivileged in our community,” said Minakshi Singh, Brand Manager, VINCE CAMUTO, Middle East. She also added, “We are hopeful that this gesture of gifting Eid goodies wins many a hearts of the women and children at DFWAC. And we anticipate continuing our relationship with the DFWAC for future projects.”
The brand initiated this charitable activity during Ramadan to revive the spirit of helping others and orienting people towards understanding their sociological goals.
