Al Ain Convention Centre, the leading exhibition venue owned by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) in Al Ain, is set to host the 10th edition of Weddex showcasing products and accessories related to traditional weddings including dresses, giftware, jewellery and beauty accessories.
To run from 5 – 10 May at Al Khabisi Hall, Weddex 2014 will welcome visitors from 3:00pm until 10:30pm, with an exclusive day set aside for ladies on 7 May. The event is anticipated to draw more many local and international wedding planners, henna art designers, video and photographers, representatives of hotels, honeymoon destination managers, rent-a-car companies and tent companies from the UAE and around the world.
The much anticipated 10th edition of the event will showcase accessories and decorations used in traditional nuptials in the GCC such as abayas, wedding gowns, formal footwear, beauty products, jewellery, bridal accessories, Arabian oud and perfumes, furniture, fireworks as well as a collection of fine leather products. Daily special fashion shows and beauty demonstrations by leading names in the fashion industry will also serve as daily crowd pullers.

In hosting events like Weddex and offering Al Khabisi Hall 1 free of charge to local couples, we aim to take some of their stress away and allow them to enjoy their big day in a relaxed manner.”
In its 9th edition, Weddex 2013 drew wedding specialists from countries including Turkey, Lebanon, Singapore, India, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Kuwait, Italy and the US. Weddex 2013 also attracted between 20,000 – 30,000 visitors to the city. Al Ain Convention Centre is Al Ain’s premier venue for exhibitions, conferences, weddings and other special events. It offers 20,000 sq m of indoor and outdoor event space including Al Khabisi Hall 1, a popular wedding venue in Al Ain that was built upon the instruction of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, founding father of the UAE.
