Seven companies have been selected for the shortlist for the TMT Innovation Award 2014 for TMT Finance MENA 2014 Awards, recognising outstanding telecom, media and technology (TMT) companies, financial institutions and advisers.
Regional telecom operators Etisalat of UAE, Ooredoo of Qatar and Zain of Kuwait were selected for products and services in super-fast broadband, content and mobile applications, and 4G LTE roll out respectively. Datacentres business Datamena Dubai, Fanoos Telecom Iraq (WiMAX/LTE) and Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provider Orixcom also made the shortlist.
The TMT Finance MENA Awards, now in its fifth year, are nominated by readers of TMT Finance, the global telecom finance and investment news provider, and then assessed by a panel of Judges representing leaders from industry finance and advisory.
Winners are presented at the annual TMT Finance Awards Gala Dinner at Mina A’Salam, Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai on May 7 following the 8th annual TMT Finance & Investment MENA Conference. The events gather key leadership from telecom operators, media and technology companies, financial institutions, investors and advisers to assess opportunities for partnership, innovation, financing and growth. http://www.tmtfinance.com/mena
