Arabtec bucks Dubai market drop

The Dubai stock market index DFMGI slipped 1.02 per cent to 4,508.24 points on Tuesday, July 8, despite positive market breadth.

Arabtec, as the most liquid share, gained 0.48 per cent to hit AED4.22.

Union Properties, the second developer in Dubai by market cap, closed unchanged.

Emaar Properties, developer of the world’s tallest tower Burj Khalifa, dipped 0.75 per cent to AED9.22.

Approximately 776 million shares were traded, valued at AED1.452 billion.
