Bahrain bourse gains more than ten per cent since January 1
The stock exchange in Manama continues to foster its best debut into a new year since the global financial crisis. The Bahrain All Share Index closed 0.76 per cent higher at 1,376.19 points on Sunday, February 23. Since January 1, 2014, the gauge gained 10.20 per cent in value. Arab Banking Corporation jumped by 9.38 per cent to hit $0.525. Islamic bank Al Salam Bahrain lost the most, finishing 1.58 per cent lower at BD0.187.
