DIFC sets up Dispute Settlement Authority

Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has announced setting up the Dispute Settlement Authority (DSA), Wam has reported. The authority will comprise three authorities: Centre’s Courts, Arbitration Institute, and any other sub-committees or institutes, which will be set up by DIFC’s laws and regulations. The new authority will be an independent corporate body that will carry out its duties without the intervention of any DIFC authorities. It will be chaired by the chairman of the Centre’s Courts.
