DM organizes customers’ forum for e-service users
As part of communicating with various sections of customers in order to study their opinions and suggestions as well as being part of efforts to improve services, Dubai Municipality has organized recently customers’ forum at hotel al Bustan Rotana.
More than 80 customers manly representing companies, participated in the forum organized jointly by customer relations department, information technology department and knowledge management department of Dubai Municipality.
Eng. Muhammad Al-Zaffin, Director, IT department, Mariam Bin Fahad, director of knowledge management department, Abdul Majeed AbdulRahman, assistant director of IT department and other senior officials attended the get-together.
Eng . Al-Zaffin in his introductory presentation detailed about the main features of strategic goals of e-services transformation.
He said Dubai Municipality started transforming normal services to online and now to smart services in line with the directives of HH Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice President & Prime minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai with regards to the concept of smart government and the initiatives to transform Dubai to a smart city.
He noted that all the e-service systems and newly implemented applications are made to save customers’ time and coast as well as to reduce procedural delay.
Information security and environment without pollution are also taken to account while implemented news e-services, he said.
He also pointed that e-services introduced by Dubai Municipality has ensured more interaction from customers and thus led to the improvement of many services by customers’ contribution.
Fatima Al-Sada, knowledge exchange officer at Dubai Municipality delivered a detailed presentation on DM website in which explanations were given to the gathering on various services it offers.
A question and answers session followed the presentations.
