Dubai sets up investment development agency

Dubai is setting up an investment regulatory body to enhance the emirate’s position as a global business centre to attract investments into the emirate, Wam has reported. The new corporation, an affiliate of the Department of Economic Development, will be a general corporate body enjoying full legal capacity with a mandate to boost Dubai’s reputation as an international business hub for attracting investments and laying the foundation for a proper investment environment and a welcoming investment climate for investors to set up projects in the emirate, the government said.
