Eased tensions in Ukraine boost Saudi market

The market bellwether, SABIC, advanced by 1.10 per cent to SAR114.50. MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance Company surged by 1.11 per cent to SAR68.50. Earlier in the day, MetLife AIG ANB said that it received the authorisation to practise insurance business in the kingdom from the Saudi regulator, SAMA. Out of 159 traded shares, 145 advanced and four declined.
