Egypt expects 1.6% rise in tax revenues

Egypt’s finance minister, Hany Kadry Dimian has said the government increased by 1.6% the expected amount of tax revenues to be collected during the 2014/2015 fiscal year, Daily News Egypt has reported. The total tax revenue goal in the budget for the 2014/2015 fiscal year amounts to EGP364bn, compared with EGP358bn in 2013, the minister said.
