Kuwait’s finance minister, Anas Al-Saleh has said the government has no plans to impose income tax on individuals, but is currently undertaking a study to revise subsidies and an imminent decision on diesel subsidies is expected soon, Kuwait Times has reported. The revision of subsidies does not mean it will be “reduced but will make sure it reaches those who deserve and need it and will not undermine the interests of low and middle class people,” said the minister.
