MoF hosts open meeting for partners to provide valuable feedback
Committed to strengthening the communication channels with its partners in the UAE, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) recently hosted an open meeting titled ‘Voice of the Customer’ in its premises in Abu Dhabi. The meeting was held in an effort to enhance MoF’s channels of communication with its customers and receive valuable feedback on ways to develop its services.
The meeting was attended by HE Younis Haji Al Khouri, Undersecretary of MoF and HE Mariam Mohammad Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for the Management of Financial Resources at MoF. The Ministry constantly seeks to organise similar meetings for all departments in order to reaffirm its commitment to achieving its strategic initiatives.
Commenting on this meeting, HE Younis Haji Al Khourisaid: “The Ministry’s strategic plans provided a new and effective way to deal with its partners and customers, where MoF believes that the most effective method to strengthen its services is to gain valuable feedback from the different bodies.”
He added:”The Ministry continuously seeks to follow the principles of corporate excellence to apply them within the workplace and in turn achieve its strategic vision to become a global leader in financial management and contribute to achieving a competitive sustainable environment in the UAE.”
The meeting’s agenda included a presentation on the Ministry’s strategic plan and its organizational structure both in Arabic and English, while taking into account the diversity of customers. In addition, participants were briefed on the different channels of communication offered by the Ministry.
Participants were also introduced to the Regional and International Financial Relations Department, its new services and its innovative plans to promote the UAE’s investment sector on a regional and global level, including the benefits of the gulf economic integration.
The meeting also included a discussion between the Ministry’s officials and customers to clarify different concepts and suggested developmental plans which were recommended by the customers.
The Ministry previously hosted a similar meeting in December of last year to strengthen and improve MoF’s channels of communication and services with representatives from UAE ministries, government and quasi-governmental bodies across the resources and budget as well as financial management sectors.
