The Tadawul All-Share Index advanced by 0.82 per cent to reach 11,029.95 points on Wednesday, August 27.

Positive input from the U. S. where the S&P 500 closed above 2,000 points for the first time on Tuesday supported the sentiment. However, with today’s trading, the TASI has shot over the upper Bollinger band which is usually an indication that that rally becomes more fragile.

One hundred shares advanced, while 48 declined in value. SABIC closed 1.23 per cent to reach SAR133.

Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Company jumped 9.90 per cent, a near limit up, to hit SARSAR108.

Islamic bank Alinma was the most liquid share that declined in value, closing at SAR25.90.
