Tadawul market dips, energy-related shares buck downtrend

In line with the general fickle trend in the Mena region, the Tadawul All-Share Index fell by 0.22 per cent to 9,765.48 points on Sunday, May 11. SABIC, the world’s leading producer of petrochemicals (SABIC also produces metals) slipped by 0.18 per cent to SAR118.75. WAFRAH for Industry and Development surged by 9.64 per cent to SAR63. National Agriculture Marketing (Thimar) posted the biggest drop, ending off by 2.67 per cent at SAR126.25. Saudi Steel Pipe Company jumped 4.66 per cent to SAR39.50.
