Hammouda will be responsible for the overall communications strategy for the leading private equity firm in the Middle East and North Africa with investments worth more than $8.3bn in industries including mining, oil and gas, cement, transportation and food.
Hammouda brings 18 years of diverse experience in the marketing, advertising, and PR industries to Citadel Capital as the rapidly growing Cairo-based firm expands its investor base beyond the Middle East and North Africa.

Prior to joining Citadel Capital in November, Hammouda served as a senior executive and consultant to top New York and Cairo firms including Reciprocal, Inc.; Nabli Business Consulting Group (NBCG); Ogilvy & Mather; N.W. Ayer & Partners, Backer, Spielvogal, Bates and AT&T International.
Hammouda was also a board member for the New York based Sunhawk.com Corporation, a leading Digital Rights Management company.
Hammouda’s 15 years of experience in New York allotted her the opportunity to handle key accounts ranging from FMCG to IT and telecom. Her expertise is in strategic business planning with a particular emphasis on globalizing brands.

Hammouda holds a law degree from Cairo University and a degree in Business Administration and Mass Communications from the American University in Cairo (BA).
