We are confident her expertise will add immeasurable value to the Establishment and encourage more women to become the key driving force behind Dubai’s development and progress”.
Dubai Women Establishment pursues a five-pronged strategy to catalyse the participation of women in policy-making on women legislations and regulations; nurture future women leaders; help women maintain a balance between their professional and family lives; provide life-long opportunities for trainees as well as employed women; and enhance the image of UAE women.
Responding to her appointment, Al-Shamsi said: “I am honoured to join such an illustrious organization. I look forward to working closely with the team to fulfill the Establishment’s significant mission.
“Dubai Women Establishment has set new trends in the region through promoting UAE women as a principal condition for the country’s development. This objective is close to my heart and I will spare no effort in putting the Establishment’s five strategy plan into effective action”.
While taking office, Al Shamsi calls upon all Emarati women to participate in seminars and gatherings that are organized by the Establishment to share experiences between women leaders and identify best opportunities for women.
She also invited women to visit the DWE website www.dwe.gov.ae where they can view all the activities and seminars hosted by the Establishment and share their opinions.
In its endeavour to develop the UAE women’s capabilities to help them contribute more effectively to the growth of the nation, the Dubai Women Establishment facilitates more UAE women to come in direct contact with the country’s leading role models.
DWE also seeks active participation in international events that provide an opportunity to showcase the evolved role of the UAE woman.
