Joining Juniper from Cisco Systems, Hamadneh will focus on leading Juniper’s service provider business team in some of the fastest-paced and competitive telecom markets in the region.
Hamadneh joins Juniper at a time when mobile penetration in Saudi Arabia has exceeded 100%, Jordan has seen the number of operators offering Internet services increase to at least 10, and Yemen witnessed mobile growth rates of 40-50% annually over the past two years.
A key part of his new role will be demonstrating to service providers in the Middle East how Juniper’s network infrastructure helps create new service models which attract business and residential customers while lowering network operating costs and driving network monetization.
“This is an extremely exciting time to be working with telecoms operators, as many of the Middle East’s leading service providers are looking to expand outside the region, and markets like Saudi Arabia and Jordan are seeing intense competition for subscribers. My immediate aim is to help Juniper’s telecom customers expand and accelerate their business models, driving increased profitability from their networks,”
Hamadneh has extensive expertise in the Middle East’s networking sector as well as a robust knowledge of the business and technology needs of the region’s telecoms providers.
