In addition to that, he will play a major role in identifying areas of growth and improving the agency’s product, people, and services, in the light of some dramatic changes that have taken place at UM since early 2010.
“Zubair has been one of the pillars at UM who has shown true leadership and grown in his professional stature by leaps and bounds,”
said Fadi Salameh, President and CEO of the Middle East Communication Network (MCN).
He is an expert strategic media planning and investment consultant and holds a Masters in Marketing Management from Bombay University. He strongly believes in Charles Darwins dictum of “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” This is the same philosophy Zubair applies when working with his regional and local Clients in the face of the ever evolving mediascape.
Since joining UM in 2002, Zubair’s responsibilities encompassed the management of media planning and investment, people, as well as ensuring smooth systems and processes. Zubair has worked on a stellar portfolio of clients and contributed immensely to the agency’s winning or retaining key clients over the last year including Coca-Cola, L’Oreal Luxury Products, Sony Gulf, Ferrari World and others.
He is a member of the Advisory Board for BPA Middle East and Worldwide. Over the years he received numerous honours and industry awards such as the Gold at the GEMAS EFFIES for Zee Aflam 2009 in the Media category and many other regional and international nominations.
