    Cisco Systems has appointed Logicom as a Cisco Distribution Partner (CDP) for Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the UAE and Yemen. Logicom will have a direct purchasing relationship with Cisco, and will be responsible for managing the relationship with IT resellers as well as undertaking channel development activities.

    ENOC has introduced new smart payment cards with memory chip technology. ENOC already has 80,000 magnetic stripe card holders in the UAE, and the new cards will also be accepted in Oman.
