The Dubai Design and Fashion Council (DDFC), member of the Dubai Creative Clusters Authority, and leading luxury retailer Chalhoub Group announced a strategic partnership to develop and support creative talent.

“Supporting and incubating creative talent are some of the most fundamental elements of DDFC’s mandate. Working with key stakeholders and industry leaders such the Chalhoub Group are essential as this helps us create new avenues for nurturing and showcasing talent, and accelerating the growth of the design industry in Dubai,” sad Nez Gebreel, CEO of DDFC.

The collaboration allows Chalhoub Group to offer its expertise to the council’s designers, through a wide range of relevant topics, to help equip them with necessary business acumen in order to become competitive on a national and a global scale.

In line with the Chalhoub Group’s commitment to education and entrepreneurship, the Group is glad to support the Dubai Design and Fashion Council. We believe in the growing talents of the region and we are proud to be part of this initiative, where we can share our intimate knowledge of the retail industry and support these young entrepreneurs to build and develop their businesses,” said Patrick Chalhoub, co-CEO of the Chalhoub Group

DDFC already offers a range of initiatives and platforms to share knowledge and develop skills, such as the Urban Majlis discussion forum and different seminars and workshops, which Chalhoub Group will now be able to support and be part of, by hosting workshops focusing on the business challenges for entrepreneurs in  the industry.
