Mercedes-Benz’s ‘She’s Mercedes’, the first event of its kind in the region, took place this June at the Leila Heller Gallery. It was hosted by Gargash Enterprises, the authorised general distributor for Mercedes-Benz in Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates.

The ‘She’s Mercedes’ hub is devoted to “encourage, connect and empower local women,” by bringing communities of professionals together, according to a statement announcing the arrival of She’s Mercedes to the region.

“‘She’s Mercedes’ is an extension of our commitment towards the growth of our local talents. By providing them a platform to showcase their skills and flourish, we move closer to our aim of empowering talented individuals,” said Shehab Hargash, board member of Gargash Enterprises.

The platform consists of networking events and also has a print magazine and a digital hub, bringing members of the community closer. Its primary aim is to create a dialogue between the exceptional women involved.

Handbags, kaftans, jewellery and summer accessories focusing on local designers, such as the HANA COLLECTION and S*UCE, were showcased at the event.

The new 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class was also showcased during the event. The E-200 is the tenth generation of the carmaker’s executive Sedan.

“Introducing the E-Class at this event was an addition to our aim of portraying innovation in its finest form,” said Karl Johan Sandesjo, general manager at Gargash Enterprises.

“All of the features combined, the E-200 is rightly positioned as the world’s most intelligent sedan in the business class,” Sandesjo added.
