As part of the 4-day art exhibit Pop Up Art – Middle East presented the works of artists hailing from across the region, including Syria, Jordan, Tunisia, Lebanon and Iraq, as well as a British artist presenting exclusive works with a Middle Eastern twist. As a special bonus, guests witnessed the screening of award-winning documentary on the Bedouins of Petra, Jordan called ‘After Tomorrow,’ – with a commentary on how tourism is affecting the region and its locals. The screening was followed by a Q&A session with the film’s co-director Toufic Beyhum.
