BMW has announced the second generation of its X6 sports activity coupe is to hit dealer showrooms late this year, with a rear-wheel drive option for the first time. The 2015 model will come with three engine variants. The rear-wheel model will be powered by BMW’s 300bhp sDrive35i twin-turbo inline 6 engine. The all-wheel drive model comes with both the xDrive35i and the xDrive50i with BMW’s updated 445bhp twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8. M Sport enhancements could be ordered for all models of the new X6, BMW said.
