During an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Chief Minister of the British Channel island of Jersey, Senator Ian Gorst, visited the world’s largest Mercedes-Benz facility housed by Emirates Motor Company (EMC), Mercedes-Benz authorized distributor in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the flagship company of Al Fahim Group.
“I was very impressed by the Emirates Motor Company facility,” Senator Gorst said . “I was also delighted to support a Jersey engineering firm specializing in the restoration of classic cars which is hoping to build a relationship with the Al Fahim Group. I look forward to the development of a close collaboration that will benefit the Al Fahim Group’s customers and Jersey’s specialist firms.”

We are proud of housing the largest Mercedes-Benz facility in the world and of being among the capital’s important landmarks,” said Mr. Ian Beattie, General Aftersales Manager at EMC.
Senator Gorst was taken on a comprehensive tour of the premises in Mussafah which included a 250-work-bay service center, the Middle East’s largest car-painting booths, a 550 underground parking lot for customers’ vehicles, and more. Senator Gorst was also greatly impressed by the classic car collection of the second generation family of Al Fahim, which were displayed at the showroom in Mussafah starting with a replica of the first vehicle ever, 1886, the patent three-wheeled wagon by Carl Benz and other rather rare vehicles.
