Cadillac and Mannai Auto Group are participating in the Qatar Motor Show 2014 which will be held at the QNCC from February 21-25.
The Cadillac portfolio on display will feature award-winning passenger cars, the ATS which was voted the North American Car of the Year 2013, the revolutionary XTS, the SRX Crossover and the all-new 2014 CTS. The 2014 CTS will be revealed for the first time to audiences in Qatar at the upcoming Motor Show.
Cadillac’s all-new 2014 CTS sedan ascends into the heart of the midsize luxury market with expanded performance, elevated luxury and sophisticated technology. It has been voted the Car of the Year 2014 by Motor Trend magazine based on six key criteria: Design Advancement, Engineering Excellence, Efficiency, Safety, Value and Performance of Intended Function. This is the second time in six years that the CTS has received this honor.
“As the centerpiece of the Cadillac brand, the all-new CTS is longer, lower and learner than the generation before it,” said Bader El Houssami, Regional Manager- Qatar, General Motors Middle East. “True to Cadillac’s strong art & science philosophy, the CTS balances immaculate design, thrilling performance and cutting-edge technology.”
Cadillac also offers customers a high-level aftersales service experience through its Premium Care Program.
Mr. Mohammed Helmy, Group General Manager, Mannai Auto, said Cadillac’s participation in the Qatar Motor Show is in recognition of the Show’s growing importance to the region’s auto scene and the increasing interest it is seeing from customers.
“This is a great opportunity to engage with customers and share our unique philosophy with them. Cadillac started 2014 by introducing an evolution of the historic Cadillac Crest symbolizing how product and design advances are moving the brand forward. The Crest remains a consistent symbol of Cadillac and its core values and now matches the lower, longer, leaner mantra of current car designs, as well as the evolution of our Art and Science philosophy, which is what we want our stakeholders to understand and embrace at the Qatar Motor Show this month,” said Mr. Helmy.
The Motor Show, now in its 4th year and being held for the first time at the QNCC, is expected to be bigger than in previous years. The 2013 edition of the event drew crowds of 150,000 including 71% first-time attendees of 103 nationalities.
In recent years, Cadillac has engineered a historic renaissance led by ultra-creative designs, artful engineering and advanced technology. The brand’s longstanding legacy is punctuated by revolutionary design innovations – all of which have set the brand starkly apart in a market fierce with competition.
At the Motor Show, customers can experience the all-new 2014 CTS sedan, which will be revealed for the first time locally during the show. It will be showcased alongside the XTS and ATS sedans, as well as the SRX crossover, which all embody the brand’s unwavering commitment to the highest standards of design excellence.
