In line with its commitment to support and train Bahraini nationals and provide them with career opportunities, First Motors, the authorized dealership of Hyundai in the kingdom of Bahrain, recently hired Bahraini national Sayed Hussain Hameed Hashim as a technician in the Service Department after he successfully completed a one year training programme at The National Institute for Industrial Training (NIIT).
Sayed’s training at NIIT included Customer Service skills, technical knowledge and key support skills and is in accordance with an agreement signed previously by Al Zayani Investments Group (AZI), of which First Motors is part of, with Tamkeen and NIIT in order to train Bahraini interns in the Automotive Apprenticeship Programme.
On this occasion Mr.Raed Mu’ti, the General Manager of First Motors said: “Our commitment to support, train and employ Bahraini nationals forms a vital part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Programme. Providing the Bahraini youth with such opportunities is very important to us as it empowers them to be qualified professionals in their respective fields. We are happy to welcome Sayed to be a member of the First Motors team.”
Sayed was among the first batch of 11 participants who successfully completed their one year training. Under the agreement signed by AZI, a total of 30 Bahraini will undergo training in order to qualify to join the Group’s Automotive divisions, namely; First Motors, Euro Motors and Zayani Motors.
