Volkswagen Middle East announced an engine upgrade for the Volkswagen CC in key markets including UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait. The upgrade, which comes at no additional cost to customers, means the CC is now powered by a 2.0L, 210hp engine, representing an additional 50hp for the stylish four-door coupe.

The upgrade reinforces the German automobile manufacturer’s commitment to customer satisfaction and value.

Launched in the Middle East in 2008, the CC with its style and space, and trademark German engineering expertise for quality and performance, has quickly become popular amongst consumers in the region.

Thomas Milz, Managing Director, Volkswagen Middle East, said: “The Volkswagen CC enjoys strong demand from customers as a result of its unique segment, unifying the worlds’ of both sedan and sports coupes through its style, dynamism and performance. The upgrade, adding greater engine performance with more horsepower, will further bolster appeal for the CC.”

“The fact that the upgrade has no cost implications for our customers only serves to reinforce our on-going commitment to enhance value with outstanding vehicles and services, with every product that we introduce to the market”, added Milz.

The Volkswagen CC is one of the company’s most successful models as it combines the stylish charm of a coupé with lots of space to comfortably seat up to five passengers.
