Thomas Huth joins the Rezidor Hotel Group as general manager overseeing the three Red Sea Properties, Park Inn by Radisson and both Radisson Blu Resort & Radisson Blu Lagoon Resort, Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.
Huth, a German national, began his career with Starwood Hotels and Resorts at the München Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Germany as commis de cuisine.
While his early career was founded in food and drink taking him from chef de partie to executive chef and eventually to director of food and beverage, he moved into his first general manager position with Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts Hurghada in Egypt in 2006.
His career has taken him globally to China, Germany, New Zealand and Russia and he was most recently with Cleopatra Luxury Hotels & Resorts, Egypt as the general manager based in Cleopatra Luxury Hotel Makadi Bay.
Huth is a proactive hands-on leader with a track record of driving revenue, profitability and overall business performance.
In his new role, in additon to driving business, his focus will be on maintaining guest satisfaction and developing his team to deliver the renowned Radisson Blu Yes I Can! service.
