Google Inc. is set to enforce a ban on adverts that promote “sexually explicit content” from its advertising network across Google’s search engine and other sites, according to the “no super-naughty ads” provision of its AdWords policies that it first posted in March of this year, PC Magazine has reported. The search giant has started to email advertisers to remind them of the coming crackdown on risqué advertising. “Beginning in the coming weeks, we’ll no longer accept ads that promote graphic depictions of sexual acts,” Google said in its message to advertisers. “When we make this change, Google will disapprove all ads and sites that are identified as being in violation of our revised policy.”
