Kharabeesh, a leading regional company that has led the way in the MENA region in producing widely-popular “Arabic online and social media content,” has now taken its success to a new level by obtaining YouTube Certification.
Kharabeesh is now the first YouTube multi-channels network in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region to deserve such accreditation – making it a “YouTube Arab expert for consultancy services, channels, online copyrighting and content management,” according to Kharabeesh.
“Many can still remember how Arabic online content was once poor and scattered. After years of building its content direction and audience base, Kharabeesh now has what it takes to boost Arabic content in ways we have always envisioned. We are quickly becoming the number one destination for Arab online content creators who want to grow their reach and maximize their revenues online,” said Kharabeesh CEO, Mohamed Asfour.
YouTube Certification is an educational training program by Google (which owns YouTube) offering social-media and online professionals the opportunity to learn best practices, and enhance their skills in YouTube channel management.
Over the past few months, 5 Kharabeesh staff members have completed a series of intense courses with YouTube, followed by successfully passing a lengthy and complex certification test. A minimum number of 3 certified employees at a company are needed before that company can put the certified badge on its website.
Firas Al Otaibi, Kharabeesh’s chief business development officer said, “Kharabeesh has great reach via Youtube, with over 600 Million views, and counting. We want to capitalize on our success and our understanding of the Arab audience, and with this new certification from YouTube, we aim to venture into new frontiers, by empowering other businesses in the online Arab content scene.”
Otaibi added, “Kharabeesh, being a local company with a regional influence via YouTube, can further spread Arabic content over the web, as it has the largest team of YouTube certified individuals in the region.”
