Online Lifestyle Network (OLN) has just cooked up a new Arabic cooking platform: JustFood.tv. Boasting a large collection of exclusive videos and hundreds of recipes, and featuring a bevy of chefs, JustFood.tv aims to give women (and men) in the Middle East the inspiration, expert advice and confidence they need to cook delicious meals and enjoy food every day.
The new website launch complements OLN’s existing offering, which comprises some of the fastest-growing online portals in the region – such as Nawa3em.com, gheir.com, Ra2ed.com and Chababs.com; as well as OLN TV, the premium lifestyle and entertainment platform that streams the most diverse array of video content in Arabic language, launched earlier this year.
“With JustFood.tv we were looking to create a satisfying, hospitable and sociable experience, quite like food and cooking, hence it was essential for our users to be able to easily explore unmatched premium content; pick, watch and share any number of videos straight from top chefs; and, of course, access all this content across all devices,” said Rudolf Jabre, CEO, OLN.
“We also wanted to showcase JustFood.tv as a truly ideal partner for brands and advertisers to create great culinary and consumer experiences with, as food and cooking represent a rich area for digital today, in the region. We’re very excited for all the possibilities ahead,” added Jabre.
“The food culture has evolved and changed so much in the last decade. Rather than a domestic chore, cooking is seen as an enjoyable activity. Food in itself is about much more than sustenance; it is about health, creativity, passion and togetherness. JustFood.tv reflects the food revolution in our culture, whilst also celebrating Middle East’s exuberant and eclectic tastes,” concluded Zoya Sakr Jabre, Group Editor in Chief, OLN.
