The recent expo 2020 announcement has reaffirmed Roya’s expansion plans as an increase in investor activity is foreseen to accommodate a spike in visitor numbers. Business Development Director, Rabih Feghali, confirms the hotel market is on the brink of a growth spurt, stating “The hotel development arena is experiencing a renaissance on several fronts. Halted projects are being dusted off and examined for current market relevance and efficiency. This is a crucial exercise to undertake at this juncture in order to keep up with the times. We are also working with a number of international real estate investors who have committed to developing hotels in the region – this can only gain more traction with the government’s announcement of the creation of a one stop shop to streamline hotel investments in Dubai.”
Roya International’s CEO, Mr. Kees Hartzuiker shares Mr. Feghali’s relentless optimism, “Since its establishment in 1998, Roya International has played an integral role in the development of the hospitality industry in the region. Currently, we are busier than we have ever been with an overwhelming number of projects being confirmed in gearing up for the foreseen rise of tourism destinations in the region, namely Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha. This upsurge in activity is extremely exciting for us and the company aspires to go from strength to strength, progressively partaking in the modelling of the hospitality industry in the middle east.”
