Discovery Channel gears up for partnership with Gulf Bike Week 2014
Discovery Network announced its partnership with the United Arab Emirates’ leading automotive festival for bike lovers, Gulf Bike Week.
Discovery Channel, the #1 destination for entertaining high-quality, non-fiction content and flagship Discovery Networks channel brand, will be title media sponsor of this year’s Gulf Bike Week event taking place at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre from Thursday 30th October to Saturday 1st November.
Home to flagship programmes and well-known faces such as Wheeler Dealers, Deadliest Catch and Bear Grylls, Discovery Channel HD is available across the Middle East and North Africa exclusively on OSN channel 500, offering an unrivalled mix of compelling content across genres including, turbo, engineering, survival, adventure and magic, with in-depth, behind-the-scenes glimpses at the people, places and organizations that shape and share our world.

Now in its 10th year, Gulf Bike Week is the ultimate festival for bikes, music and lifestyle, with a host of awesome attractions, music stages, celebrities and exhibitors providing a great mix for the whole family. All the latest bikes, gear and accessories will be on display from leading manufacturers including Harley Davidson and top distributors such as MTM Powersports.
Brand new for 2014 is the Live Action Arena hosted by Mike Brewer, star of the hit Discovery Channel series Wheeler Dealers, which will have a thrilling line-up across the 3 days including, breath-taking bike stunts, bike start-up battles, amazing custom bikes and much more. Two music stages showcasing over 15 local and international bands will provide the soundtrack for the festival, while local bike builders will get the chance to enter the Middle East Custom Bike Build Competition. The legendary Thunder Parade also returns with over 1000 bikes from across the UAE set to light up the roads of Dubai once again. Plus, new for 2014 is the Discovery VIP Lounge where visitors can mix with the bands and celebrities while enjoying mouth-watering food and drink.
