Facebook changes ads sizes

Facebook Inc. has announced it is switching to fewer but bigger ads on the right-hand column of the desktop PC version of its website because users respond more frequently to them, Reuters has reported. The ads will be the same proportions as the News Feed ads, which place paid marketing messages into a user’s stream of content and news. The move aims to make advertising on Facebook “simpler” for marketers, since they won’t need to use different images for different ads, the social networking company said.
