OpenSooq launches TV campaign in partnership with media personality Waleed Alfarraj
The Arab World’s leading online classifieds platform, OpenSooq, launched its first promotional campaign on MBC in January 2014. The campaign, which targets the Arab Gulf in specific, aims to relay and explain the simple idea behind OpenSooq’s classifieds website to Arab viewers everywhere.
The promotion was broadcasted in three separate parts, reflecting the three most popular sections on OpenSooq’s site. The marketing material conveys the latest and simplest way for Arab users to publish online classifieds ads, highlighting the differences between traditional advertising and the modern classifieds advertising service offered by the site.
Perhaps the campaign’s most original feature was media personality Waleed Alfarraj’s creative touch and distinctive style in introducing OpenSooq’s idea to viewers, rather than the content of the services offered by the site.
OpenSooq provides integrated services to users, including but not limited to rent and sale, miscellaneous services, and advertisements for vacancies catering to job seekers, all free of charge and without commission.
The site also recently launched OpenSooq’s smartphone app, available on Andriod and iPhone operating systems.
