Veria partners with Nestlé Middle East
Veria, the first free-to-air TV channel dedicated to wellness, nutrition, fitness and lifestyle, has partnered with Nestlé Middle East, the world’s leading nutrition, health and wellness company, to promote a healthier Middle East through the “Nestlé Choose Wellness” movement.
Viewers in the region are about to embark upon a journey that will ultimately be the guide of wellness in their lives. Nestlé Middle East will work closely with Veria to encourage the adoption of healthy habits through a series of fun and interactive initiatives that reach out to consumers through activations and across social media. Consumers will be given access to tips and tools to help them take simple steps on their journey to making a real difference.
Commenting on the partnership, Mukund Cairae, CEO, (MENAPT) Zee Network said: “We are delighted to partner with Nestlé Middle East and work with them on a number of activations and communication channels to serve one common goal – to promote healthier lifestyles.”
Nestlé Choose Wellness movement aims to help combat the growing rates of lifestyle diseases and obesity. By pledging to eat healthier, move more and live better, Nestlé Choose Wellness has, to date, reached over 80,000 people across the region through the www.NestleChooseWellness.com, an interactive phone app (Nestlé Choose Wellness) and hashtags: #ichoosewellness on social media pages.
“Leading a healthy lifestyle starts at home, with family and friends, and we believe every single choice counts. We are delighted to partner with Veria to create content that is relevant for this region, helping to promote a healthier Middle East,” said Zeinab Maktabi, Nutrition, Health & Wellness Manager at Nestlé Middle East.
Veria broadcasts a range of international shows, subtitled in Arabic, providing a one stop shop source of entertainment and inspiration. Veria is another additive to the evolving medley of channels by Zee Network, catering to its growing viewer base in the region. Veria is aired free to air on Nilesat in English across the Middle East and North Africa region and is also available through ELife (Channel 620) and DU (Channel 410) in the UAE.
