Citi celebrates twenty five years of consumer banking in Bahrain
Citi Bahrain celebrated 45 years of presence and 25 years of Consumer Banking operations in the Kingdom. Held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Manama, the celebration was hosted by Mr. James Cowles, Citi’s Chief Executive Officer for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), who visited Bahrain recently, as well as Mr. Atiq Ur-Rehman, Citi’s Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East Division, and Mr. Mazin Manna, CEO of Citi Bahrain.
Commenting on the event, Mr. Manna said: “Citi Bahrain has been a partner in the Kingdom’s progress for over four decades, and intends to enhance its value-added services to clients and investors, as well as expand its foothold in Bahrain. Today’s celebration is a salute to our clients for their contiuous support and loyalty, and a reiteration of our commitment to the local market.”
Citi has been present in Bahrain since 1969. The bank’s Institutional capabilities include Corporate & Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Sales & Trading, Transactions Services and Islamic Banking, while its Consumer Banking arm, Citibank, has been offering a range Wealth Management and Consumer Credit services since its launch in 1989.
