Dubai’s Quantum sells majority stake to KSA’s Tharawat

Quantum Investment Bank (Quantum) has sold a 54% stake to Tharawat Holding Co, a Saudi-based investments firm, Arab News has reported. Quantum is an Islamic investment bank based at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). “We have been studying the bank for quite long time and after deep analysis of the bank’s potential and unique opportunities, we have decided to become a majority shareholder in order to support our investment and expansion plans,” said the CEO of Tharawat, Ammer Selham.
