Joaquin Delgado, executive vice president of 3M, has said it plans to set up a manufacturing plant in the Saudi capital at an initial cost of $15m, Arab News has reported. The proposed factory is to produce consumer, electronics, and energy health care and industrial products, said Delgado. “We hope to manufacture some 12 products and will increase the number depending on the local demand,” he said. The manufacturing plant, to be located in the third industrial city of Riyadh, will start production in mid-2015, he added.
