Burjeel Medical Center set to raise bar on private healthcare in Oman
Lifeline Hospital Group, one of Oman’s fastest growing hospital chains, has announced the soft launch of an exclusive facility that promises to set a new benchmark in private healthcare and wellness services in the Sultanate.
Burjeel Medical Center has been established to offer a wide array of healthcare services that, unlike conventional clinics and hospitals, are based on the ‘art of healing’ – a unique concept that has revolutionised premium private healthcare services in the UAE.
The local facility is modelled on its namesake – The Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi – a highly-acclaimed institution that offers world-class healthcare services set in 7-star settings complete with plush suites, fine dining restaurants and concierge services. A key differentiator is the brand’s commitment to providing an exceptionally superior degree of services in a calming and reassuring setting, underpinned by personalised attention and genuine warmth – otherwise also known as the ‘art of healing’.
Oman’s own Burjeel is taking shape in an upscale part of Al Athaiba, one of Muscat’s fastest growing commercial and residential districts. Set in a newly refurbished building (that previously housed the headquarters of Nawras), Burjeel Medical Center is conveniently located next to Al Meera Hypermarket, not far from a host of other major landmarks in the area, most notably the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque.
Burjeel Medical Center will formally open its doors next month after the Eid Al Fitr holidays. However, in keeping with the spirit of the Holy month of Ramadan, the facility is presently offering a suite of services limited to paediatric care, gynaecology, dentistry and general practice. Visitor timings are 9am to 1pm and 6pm to 10pm. Facilities and services are being progressively ramped up in the lead up to the facility’s full-fledged start-up in August.
“As a new brand offering from Lifeline, Burjeel Medical Center will raise the bar on service excellence in the private healthcare sector in Oman. The brand, for the first time possibly, will be looking to bring back the personalised human touch in the treatment of patients – an approach that is rooted in the traditions of hospitality of Oman and the wider region. Thus, in addition to equipping our facility with highly qualified medical professionals from around the world, backed by an array of sophisticated diagnostic paraphernalia, the Burjeel brand will epitomize the concept of wellness,” said Retnakumar Janardanan, Chief Executive Officer, Lifeline Hospitals Group LLC.
