Dubai welcomes new furniture and joinery business as hospitality sector grows
New bespoke furniture and joinery company KnightsWood has officially launched in Dubai, UAE. The company, which boasts over 400 employees recently opened its doors in two locations, Al Quoz and Dubai Investment Park.
“With such a flourishing hospitality market in the UAE, and in particular Dubai, it was only natural that KnightsWood would launch here. Whilst we offer our services to anyone looking for luxury furniture for either their homes or businesses, the hospitality market is an industry we are very focused on expanding into. His highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum recently announced his aim to have 20 million visitors come to the Emirates by the 2020 World Expo.
Tourism is already a sector where Dubai is flourishing with over 45,000 hotel rooms opening between 2003 and 2012 (according to Dubai tourism) and The National reporting that the number of tourists coming into Dubai had increased by 10% within the first nine months of 2013 netting more than AED 15 billion for hotels.
