Empower showcases best practices in district cooling services at customer workshop in Dubai
Empower, the world’s largest district cooling service provider, revealed the operational features, worldwide benchmarks and industry trends for the district cooling sector during its first Customer Workshop, from May 26- 27, 2014 at Media Rotana, Dubai.
Held with the aim of boosting interaction between Empower and its key stakeholders at the onset of summer, the inaugural workshop targeted Empower’s customers in Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Ibn Battuta Mall, Discovery Gardens and Jumeirah Village, with more workshops planned for customers in other districts.
Ahmad Bin Shafar, Chief Executive Officer, Empower, said, “Our growth over the last decade demonstrates that district cooling technologies are a viable option for infrastructure development in the United Arab Emirates. The event included presentations that highlighted Empower’s technical and operational efforts to maintain its advanced and reliable network across Dubai. Empower’s clientele includes iconic real estate developments like Business Bay, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), TECOM C, Ghuroob Mirdif, and Al Khail Gate.
Senior officials from across Empower’s operations, maintenance, technical, sales and marketing teams also hosted open discussions for customers during the event.
